PhotoSweep Privacy Policy

Overview

PhotoSweep is a photo cleanup tool developed by Goldenmonstew for iOS. This privacy policy explains how PhotoSweep handles your data. The short answer: it doesn't. PhotoSweep is designed from the ground up to be a fully on-device application with zero data collection.

Data Collection

PhotoSweep does not collect any data. Specifically:

• No personal information is collected, stored, or transmitted
• No usage analytics or tracking of any kind
• No crash reporting data sent to external servers
• No advertising identifiers or tracking pixels
• No cookies or similar tracking technologies
• No third-party SDKs that collect data

Photo Library Access

PhotoSweep requests access to your photo library to perform its cleanup and organization features. This access is governed entirely by the iOS permissions system. Your photos are:

• Processed 100% on your device
• Never uploaded to any server
• Never transmitted over the internet
• Never shared with any third party
• Never accessed beyond what is necessary for the features you use

All photo analysis, duplicate detection, and cleanup operations happen locally on your iPhone or iPad using on-device processing.

Subscriptions & Payments

PhotoSweep offers optional subscription plans managed entirely by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit 2. Goldenmonstew does not have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or billing details. All subscription management, billing, and receipts are handled by Apple. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for information on how Apple handles payment data.

Third-Party Services

PhotoSweep does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, advertising networks, or external servers. The app operates entirely offline and does not make any network requests except those initiated by the iOS system for App Store subscription validation.

Data Storage

Any app preferences or settings you configure are stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage mechanisms. This data is not accessible to Goldenmonstew or any third party and is removed when you delete the app.

Children's Privacy

PhotoSweep does not collect any data from any user, including children. Since no data is collected, no special provisions for children's data are necessary.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Since PhotoSweep collects no data, any future changes would only occur if new features required policy updates, in which case we would notify users through the App Store update notes.
